What is MSC?

The Marine Stewardship Council is a not for profit organisation which has a goal to support sustainable fishing worldwide. MSC uses traceability through chain of custody in order to trace any MSC product.

MSC Haddock and the North Atlantic.

Recently the Haddock fisheries in the North Atlantic received MSC approval meaning accredited vessels can catch and land 'MSC certified fish' this means the fish has been caught responsibly in order to reverse the effects of recent years when over fishing has resulted in depletion of stocks.
